Glazed terracotta
Italian terracotta, glazed and designed.
47 references, to see by appointment in Paris 16th and 17th

Terracotta is the oldest of tiles: clay shaped, dried and fired. Glazed, it takes on deep colours and a surface that stays alive, far from the uniformity of porcelain.
Our reference is Fornace Brioni, a kiln in Gonzaga active since 1920 and reinvented under the artistic direction of Cristina Celestino. Its collections play on traditional formats (hexagon, tavella, listello) and on patterns inspired by Italian gardens and palazzi.

Is glazed terracotta suitable for floors?
+
Some references are designed for floors (pavement), others for walls (wall covering). The product pages say so, and we check the use with you in the showroom.
How do you care for glazed terracotta?
+
The glaze protects the surface: water and neutral soap are enough. The joints need more attention than the tile itself.
Book an appointment and mention terracotta in your request: we prepare the samples before your visit.
