Are Orac Decor elements ready to paint?

Yes. All Orac Decor skirtings, cornices, rails and 3D wall panels in Duropolymer® are delivered raw, ready to paint with the acrylic or oil-based paint of your choice. Preparation is simple: light sanding of the cut edges, a primer coat, then two coats of paint. The elements are fixed with Decofix adhesive on a sound, dry wall, and joints are finished with acrylic sealant. A painter can fit a complete room in a few hours.
Can original Haussmann-style mouldings be matched?

Yes, in most cases. The Orac Decor Luxxus and Axxent catalogues cover almost all Haussmann, Louis XVI and Art Deco cornices, rails and ceiling roses. For a very specific custom model (an exact reproduction of a surviving fragment), we refer you to a specialist plasterer. For most Haussmann renovations in Paris, the standard ranges work well, bring the right proportions and can be painted in the chosen tone to blend in discreetly.

The most common Orac Decor references are delivered in 2 to 3 weeks, directly from the European warehouse. LED lighting profiles and 3D wall panels can take 3 to 5 weeks depending on the model.
